Kendra Simpson

Kendra Simpson is currently a Tax Senior Manager in Passthroughs at Deloitte Washington National Tax. Previously, Kendra served as a Tax Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Virginia, where research focused on tumor immunology. Kendra earned a JD from New York University and a PhD from the University of Virginia, where doctoral research investigated the role of Macrophage Migration Inhibitory Factor in tumor growth and metastasis. Earlier in their career, Kendra contributed as a mentor recruitment coordinator for the STEM Valley Mentoring Coalition and as a chemist at BASF. Kendra holds a BS in Chemistry from North Carolina State University, where they also gained experience as a teaching assistant.
