Kyle Painter

Kyle Painter is a Master Data Scientist at Deloitte, where they design and implement algorithms to transform data into actionable intelligence for clients. Previously, Kyle served as a Data Science Research Fellow at ORISE / U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, applying data science techniques to streamline risk assessment processes. They also worked as a Software Engineer at Cisco, focusing on test code and certification for networking equipment. Earlier in their career, Kyle held multiple roles at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, including Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant, where they engaged in extensive teaching and text-mining research. Kyle’s educational background includes working toward a PhD in English literature.
