Lukas Weemaes

Lukas Weemaes graduated magna cum laude in Comparative and International Politics from KU Leuven, following a bachelor's degree in Language and Area Studies with a focus on Japanese studies. They gained valuable experience as a summer intern at Flanders Investment & Trade in Tokyo, where they supported trade relations research between Belgium and Japan. Lukas has worked at Deloitte since 2022, first as a Junior Consultant and currently as a Senior Consultant in Global Trade Advisory, contributing to customs and logistics operations and advisory projects. Prior to their career in consulting, Lukas worked in various student roles, including as a waiter and employee at EETKAFEE and Brico, respectively.
