Mark Scherer

Mark Scherer is a retired Principal who led Deloitte's Structured Finance Technology practice, specializing in financial services, securitization, systems development, and technology implementation. They began their career as a Project/Design Engineer at Hamilton Sundstrand from 1979 to 1981, and later worked as an Analyst at Standard Oil of Ohio from 1983 to 1987. Mark joined Deloitte Consulting in 1985, where they spent over two decades, and continued with Deloitte & Touche LLP until the present. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
