Martin Roy

Martin Roy, FCPA, FCA, is a highly respected partner and Chief Accounting Officer at Deloitte, where they co-lead the National Accounting & Securities group. With extensive expertise in IFRS, ASPE, and US GAAP, Martin plays a key role in determining the firm’s positions on complex accounting matters. They have also served on Deloitte's Global IFRS Leadership Team and have contributed significantly to the CPA profession through various speaking engagements and committee roles. An active community member, Martin is currently the treasurer and board member for the Merit Bursary Award Program, and previously led Deloitte's partnership with Start Proud. Martin holds a BBA in Accounting from HEC Montréal, along with a CPA designation and a BSc in Physiology from McGill University.
