Matt McCarthy is a Director in Deloitte's Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi3) team, specialising in the Life Sciences sector and STEM-based innovation. Winner of the AccountantsDaily 30 Under 30 award as a top specialist consultant in Australia, Matt has also held key roles such as Chair of the BioNSW Innovation & Commercialisation Committee and a member of the Life Sciences Industry R&D Task Force. Currently, Matt serves as a Mentor in Residence at MedTech Actuator, while previously managing R&D and Government incentives at RSM Australia. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science and a Master’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Sydney.
