Matt Samonds

Matt Samonds is a Partner at Deloitte Tax LLP in the Chicago office, where they serve as the Deputy National Leader for the Multistate Pass-through Competency and Multistate Investment Management Practice. Having joined Deloitte in 2002 after beginning their career at Arthur Andersen, they specialize in state and local income tax, franchise tax consulting, and compliance for multistate entities. With extensive experience in multistate income tax compliance and planning since 2000, Matt is also a frequent speaker on state tax matters. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a BS in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University.
