Michael Degulis

Michael Degulis is a Principal and the office practice leader of Deloitte Tax LLP’s Boston Multistate Tax Practice, focusing on state income/franchise and sales/use taxes, particularly for clients in the Investment Management industry. With over 17 years of experience at “Big Four” accounting firms, they have been with Deloitte Tax since 2006, where they lead the national multistate M&A Competency Group and are a member of the national Pass-Through leadership team. Michael graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Applied Economics from St. Anselm College, earned a JD from Boston College Law School, and holds an LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law. They have also served as an adjunct professor at Suffolk University’s Sawyer School of Management, teaching state taxation courses.
