Peter Thomas

Peter Thomas is a Partner at Deloitte, where they advise clients on various aspects of international taxation, with a focus on cross-border, subchapter C, and M&A-related issues. They possess significant experience in US foreign tax credit optimization, local country tax planning, financing, repatriation, and value chain alignment, as well as ASC740 and US federal income tax compliance and reporting. Peter has served a diverse clientele, including US-based multinational companies, private equity, and foreign-parented organizations. They are currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy in Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at DePaul University. Previously, Peter held several roles at Deloitte, including International Tax Manager and International Tax Senior Manager, from 2013 to 2017.
