Peter Tripe

Peter Tripe is a Director at Deloitte & Touche, leading Deloitte Africa’s Actuarial & Insurance Solutions practice, one of the largest actuarial consultancies on the continent. With over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Peter has held roles as a Valuations Actuary at Norwich Life and Metropolitan Life. They have served as the Head of Actuarial Function/Appointed Actuary for various insurers across Africa and possess extensive expertise in IFRS17, EV, auditing, and M&A. Peter earned a BCom (Hons) in Actuarial Science and an MSc in Physics from the University of Cape Town.
