Philasande K.

Philasande K. is a skilled actuary and currently serves as a Manager at Deloitte. They previously held the position of Head of Reporting and Business Insights at Sanlam Indie from 2021 to 2023 and worked as a Senior Actuarial Specialist at Liberty Life Insurance Company from 2018 to 2021. Philasande began their career in academia, tutoring various actuarial courses at the University of Cape Town in 2014, and has since gained extensive experience at KPMG and as a Deputy Secretary General for the Association of South African Black Actuarial Professionals. They earned a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town in 2014 and became a Technical Member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa in 2019.
