Prof. Dr. Tim Hoffmann

Prof. Dr. Tim Hoffmann is an Audit Lead at Deloitte based in Düsseldorf, where they serve as a Partner in the Audit & Assurance practice. Previously, Tim worked at PwC Deutschland, holding various roles including Senior Consultant and Senior Manager, focusing on accounting under German GAAP and IFRS. They have also contributed to academia as a Professor of Accounting and Auditing at Justus Liebig University Giessen since 2024, and have held associate lecturer positions at multiple universities. Tim earned a PhD in Business Economics from the University of Münster, alongside qualifications as a German Chartered Accountant.
