Russell Thomson

Russell Thomson is the National Managing Partner of M&A Transaction Services at Deloitte, where they lead the US Merger & Acquisition Services practice. With over 20 years of experience, they have assisted private equity clients and corporate buyers in more than 150 transactions across various sectors. Russell previously served as a Partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP and has held multiple leadership roles within the firm. Currently, they pursue a Special Diploma in Social Studies, Economics & Politics at the University of Oxford and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting alongside a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce at the University of Cape Town.
