Sasha Smith is the Sydney Market Business Leader for Tax & Legal and a Partner in Deloitte’s Indirect Tax team, bringing over 18 years of indirect tax advisory experience. Specializing in GST, Sasha assists large multi-national and public sector clients in resolving complex tax issues related to input tax credit recovery and compliance. Sasha leads the GST aspect of the National Trust & Governance Centre of Excellence and is a Fellow of both the Tax Institute of Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia. Prior roles at Deloitte included various positions within the Indirect Tax team, showcasing a progressive career in tax advisory.
