Sean Murphy

Sean Murphy is a Partner in the Tax department at Deloitte Canada, where they assist companies and individuals with cross-border personal income tax compliance, consulting, and planning for Canadian and U.S.-based clients. Sean is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA) and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA). They previously held roles at Deloitte from 2012 to 2021, including Senior Manager and Senior Tax Analyst. Sean began their career as a Staff Accountant at Bass & Murphy Chartered Accountants LLP from 2004 to 2005 after obtaining a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.
