Stan Mitchell CFCE

Stan Mitchell CFCE is an experienced professional in digital forensics and law enforcement, with a career spanning over four decades. Beginning as a Deputy at the Davidson County Sheriff's Office from January 1981 to February 1986, Stan transitioned to the Metro Nashville Police Department, where duties included serving as a Detective and Trainer in the Computer Forensic Lab until January 2005. Following this, Stan held various roles at Deloitte, first as Senior Solution Discovery Manager from April 2009 to September 2019 and currently as Sr. Manager Digital Forensics & Investigations - eDiscovery since May 2022. Stan also served as Forensic Lab Manager at LogicForce Consulting, LLC, where specialization included computer-related crime investigations. Active involvement with the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists from 2001 to 2011 as a Trainer and Committee Member further highlights Stan's commitment to education in the field. Educationally, Stan holds an Associate of Arts degree in Police Science from Nashville State Technical Institute.
