Stefan Henney

Stefan Henney is an Economics BSc student at The University of Sheffield, expected to graduate in 2024, with a projected 2.1 degree. Henney has gained diverse experience in the finance and hospitality sectors. As part of the Bright Sparks Work Experience Programme at Burges Salmon LLP in June 2017, Henney was introduced to professional environments. Between November 2018 and August 2022, Henney worked as bar and hospitality staff at The Waiting Game, excelling in high-pressure settings. At Deloitte, from September 2022 to September 2023, Henney completed an industrial placement and later held the position of Senior Associate in the North Financial Services Audit department. Additionally, Henney served as an Assistant Manager and Twikker Fund Analyst for The University of Sheffield Investment Society from October 2020 to April 2021, successfully managing a £9,000 fund. Academic achievements include A-Levels at North Bristol Post-16 Centre, with top grades in Economics and Mathematics, and a current pursuit of ACA qualifications at ICAEW from 2024 to 2026.
