Stephen McKinney

Stephen McKinney is a Managing Director in the Accounting Standards and Communications Group at Deloitte & Touche LLP’s National Office in Stamford, Connecticut. In this role, they monitor accounting standard setters and write publications on financial instruments. Previously, Stephen was a Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), where they led efforts on the financial asset impairment project and participated in the standard-setting process. Prior to that, Stephen held various positions at Deloitte and IBM, focusing on accounting practices and revenue recognition. Stephen earned a BBA in Accounting from The University of Connecticut.
