Steve Smart

Steve Smart is a Deloitte Audit Partner with 24 years of extensive public accounting experience, providing audit and advisory services to Hong Kong listed companies and multinational clients across various industries, including technology, media, and hospitality. Steve has served large groups with a focus on global, Asia Pacific, and Mainland China markets, and has played a pivotal role in assisting overseas clients with their initial listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Currently based at Deloitte China, Steve specializes in audits for multinational corporations investing in the region and is a lead member of the professional services group. Educated at the University of Cape Town, Steve holds multiple accounting qualifications, including Chartered Accountant status both in Zimbabwe and Hong Kong.
