Steven Birk, CPA, PMP, CGFM, CDFM-A, DoDFMC3, MBA, is currently an Advisory Project Delivery Manager at DELOITTE & TOUCHE USA, LLP, where they support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in areas such as Comptrollership and Financial Reporting. With a robust background that includes serving as the Head of the Financial Management Division at the Naval Research Laboratory and as a Senior Budget Analyst at the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Comptroller), Steven has developed extensive expertise in budgeting and financial management. They have also held key positions in the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Office of Naval Research, further demonstrating their strong leadership and financial acumen.
