Sylvia Shang

Sylvia Shang, MAcc, CPA, is a Tax Manager at Deloitte, where they have advanced through various roles since 2021, including Tax Consultant II and Tax Senior. Their experience includes serving as an Accounts Reconciliation Specialist at Oatey Company and participating as a Board Member focused on accounting and fundraising at The Montessori School of Champaign-Urbana. Sylvia has also contributed to the field as a Tax Intern with HW&Co. and Unique Tax & Accounting Service, Inc., and as a volunteer Tax Return Preparer for the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. They are currently pursuing a Master of Accountancy with a concentration in tax and auditing from Case Western Reserve University, having previously earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Xiamen University.
