Taylor Helgestad

Taylor Helgestad is currently a Cloud Data Architect at Deloitte, where they lead the AWS cloud modernization of regulatory systems for the FDA's Center for Tobacco Products. With a robust background in data engineering, they have previously served as the Lead Data Engineer at the California Air Resources Board, managing the AQview project, a data management and visualization system for air quality sensors. Taylor holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, they have instructed bootcamp courses on data engineering skills, showcasing their commitment to empowering others through transparent data access. Previously, they conducted research in air quality engineering at UC Davis.
