Tom Abbot

Tom Abbot is a highly experienced professional in the infrastructure and advisory sectors, currently serving as a Director in Deloitte's Infrastructure & Industrials team since June 2018. In this role, Tom leads the development of major capital works business cases for public sector clients. Previously, Tom held the position of Associate Director in the Infrastructure & Capital Projects team within Deloitte's Financial Advisory service line and worked as a Manager in the Infrastructure Advisory and Contestability team focused on public sector business cases. Prior to Deloitte, Tom was a Civil Engineer at Mott MacDonald from December 2012 to June 2018, where responsibilities included civil/structural design and project advisory in the Adelaide, Melbourne, and Sydney Built Environment sectors. Tom holds a Bachelor of Civil/Structural Engineering and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Adelaide, completed in 2013.
