Tom Bain is currently a Director at Deloitte Economic Advisory, having previously held the position of Assistant Director at Deloitte from 2019 to 2024. They served as a Senior Policy Advisor at both the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and the Department of Energy and Climate Change between 2015 and 2017. Earlier in their career, Tom was an Assistant Economist at the Law Commission of England and Wales and the UK Ministry of Justice from 2008 to 2012. Tom earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of East Anglia between 2004 and 2008.
