Wade Horn is the Human Services Segment Leader for Deloitte’s State and Local Public Sector Practice, leveraging over 30 years of experience in health and human services at various government levels. Currently, Wade is responsible for the performance of market offerings related to Children's Services, Child Support, Integrated Eligibility, and Workforce & Employment. Previously, Wade served as the Assistant Secretary for Children and Families at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 2001 to 2007, overseeing a budget of $47 billion across more than 60 programs aimed at enhancing the well-being of children and families. Wade's contributions also include various leadership roles within federal commissions focused on childhood welfare and disability. Wade holds a Ph.D. in Clinical-Child Psychology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and is currently pursuing a BA from American University.
