Wolfgang Abele

Wolfgang Abele is a Senior Manager at Deloitte Deutschland, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to this role, Wolfgang served as the Head of Reserving and Reinsurance at HDI Versicherung AG from 2014 to 2018. They also held positions as an Actuary at Gothaer Lebensversicherung and a Reserving Actuary at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. Earlier in their career, Wolfgang was a Freelance Translator from 1994 to 2002, developing tools for Computer Aided Translation and collaborating with the Institut für angewandte Informatik. Wolfgang holds a Diplom in Mathematics and Computer Science from Universität Hamburg and is a certified actuary and data scientist from the German Association of Actuaries.
