Richard Wrightson

Richard Wrightson is an experienced executive in the energy sector, currently serving as Chief Executive at Delta since July 2023. Previously, Richard held the position of GM Strategic Business Development at Lochard Energy from May 2022 to August 2023. Richard has also provided advisory services at Marsden Jacob Associates and was a member of the Industry Advisory Council for Monash Energy Materials and Systems Institute. Prior experience includes serving as EGM Wholesale Markets at AGL Energy, where oversight included procurement and trading of wholesale electricity and gas. Richard was a member of the Reliability Panel at the Australian Energy Market Commission and acted as a director for Diamantina Power Station Pty Ltd. Earlier in Richard's career, the role of Trading Manager at Loy Yang Power involved hedging generation in the national electricity market. Richard holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Nottingham Trent University and has pursued further education, including a Diploma in Financial Services and an Advanced Management Program at Melbourne Business School.
