Katie Pointer Baney is a seasoned Capitol Hill staffer with over fourteen years of experience in the political arena. Currently serving as the Managing Director of Government Affairs at Delta Defense and the Executive Director of the USCCA-Action Fund, Katie is dedicated to bridging the gap between policy and practice. Previously, Katie held key roles in the U.S. House of Representatives, including Director of Member Services and Deputy Floor Director, as well as positions in the U.S. Senate and public relations. Katie is committed to fostering transparent government relations and advancing political initiatives that resonate with legislative stakeholders. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Classical Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Katie continues to enrich their expertise and impact.
