Ripun Phukan

Ripun Phukan is an R&D Staff member at Delta Electronics, focusing on high-density power conversion systems using wide bandgap devices. They earned a PhD in Power Electronics from Virginia Tech, where they previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, Ripun worked as a Power Electronics Engineer at Rockwell Automation from 2016 to 2018 and completed a research internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in 2014. Ripun also holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from SRM University.
