Timothy Wang

Timothy (Changyong) Wang is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in power electronics and renewable energy applications. Currently serving as Executive Managing Director at Delta Electronics since August 2010, Timothy leads the business unit focused on power converters for wind turbines and energy storage, overseeing P&L and operations. Previously, as Technology Director, Timothy directed high power electronics products engineering and managed product development. Prior to Delta Electronics, Timothy was Team Manager at GE Oil & Gas, where responsibilities included managing electrical machinery applications and leading new product development across global teams. Timothy's career began at GE Global Research, where significant contributions were made in power electronics for renewable energies, resulting in over 20 patents. Timothy holds a Ph.D. in Power Electronics and Motor Drive from Zhejiang University.
