Tom Chen

Tom Chen is a Senior Electronic Design Engineer currently employed at 台達電子 since November 2023. Previously, Tom worked as a D&E - On Product Performance Engineer in Power Electronics at 艾司摩爾 from June 2023 to September 2023, and held a Senior Electronic Design Engineer position at Liteon Technology from March 2021 to May 2023, where Tom was involved in the design of a 2kW and 6kW isolated bidirectional converter for battery storage micro-grid applications. Earlier experience includes electrical system design for an 800kW Solid State Transformer system for charging stations at 台達電子 from October 2018 to February 2021 and engineering work at Chicony Power, where Tom gained knowledge in digital control theory and embedded microcontrollers. Tom holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Feng Chia University, completed in 2015 and 2013, respectively.
