Yen-Chun Chen

Yen-Chun Chen is a seasoned researcher currently serving as a Senior Associate Researcher in the CTO Office at 台達電子 since March 2024, focusing on sustainability research and emerging energy technology trends. Prior experience includes a role in the Civil Service Ethics Office during Substitute Military Service at the National Fire Agency in Taiwan, and a PhD candidacy at Paul Scherrer Institut PSI, specializing in hydrogen energy R&D and advanced materials characterization from January 2019 to December 2022. Earlier roles encompass a research assistant position at National Tsing Hua University, where work centered on energy, the environment, and analytical chemistry, along with academic achievements earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrochemistry from ETH Zürich, a Master’s degree in Engineering and System Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Science/Philosophy from National Tsing Hua University.
