YuWei Lai

YuWei Lai is a Senior Software Development Engineer at Delta Electronics, where they construct device message buses and edge data platforms, and develop edge services and dashboards. Previously, they contributed to HCI research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and interned at KPMG Taiwan, where they developed a time-saving currency converter program. YuWei has also interned as a Python Developer at BNP Paribas Cardif, streamlining reconciliation processes, and worked as a research assistant at the Commerce Development Research Institute. They hold a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from UIUC and completed their undergraduate studies at National Taiwan University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and a minor in Economics.
