Delta Sands LLC is a new in-basin frac sand project currently under development in the Western Haynesville. The company was founded by the leadership team behind Performance Proppants, the first and largest regional sand producer in the legacy Haynesville Shale. Building on that proven experience, Delta Sands is developing a next-generation facility designed for reliability, efficiency, and long-term growth.

Located near Buffalo, Texas, the 3-million-ton-per-year wet plant will produce 40/200 mesh sand (8K crush strength) and is scheduled to be operational by April 2026. Site design and permitting are underway, with construction planned to begin later this year.

Positioned in the geographic center of the Western Haynesville, the facility is designed to minimize haul distances, reduce logistics costs, and provide a dependable local source of high-quality proppant.

As regional activity accelerates — driven by strong well performance, rising rig counts, and growing LNG export demand — Delta Sands is being built to support the next phase of Haynesville development with safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
