Hans Groot has extensive experience in the field of environmental engineering and project management, with a career spanning over two decades. Beginning as a surface data logging engineer at Halliburton Energy Services from 1990 to 1994, Hans then contributed to Landview B.V. as a project manager focusing on soil characterization and remediation from 1995 to 1998. From March 1998 to March 2008, Hans served as a senior project manager in soil remediation at Wareco Ingenieurs. Following this, Hans held several significant roles at Deltares from July 2008 to October 2018, including program manager for SITO-IS, project manager for soil and groundwater quality, and chairman of the works council.
