Thomas Bles

Programme Manager Resilient Infrastructure at Deltares

Thomas Bles is a seasoned professional in civil engineering and management, currently serving as the programme manager for resilient infrastructure at Deltares since September 2003. Bles has held multiple roles at Deltares, including expert consultant and project coordinator for the ROADAPT project, which addresses climate change adaptation for road owners through an integrated approach. Prior experience includes working as a geotechnical field engineer for the Noord Zuidlijn Amsterdam from January 2012 to December 2014 and completing a master's thesis at GeoDelft. Bles began the career with an apprenticeship at Fugro in 2001. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and Management from the University of Twente and a VWO diploma from Philips van Horne scholengemeenschap.
