Mark Vain

Mark Vain is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Deluxe since October 2019, Vain manages the Payable suite of products, overseeing a $20 million technology budget that focuses on digital transformation and operational efficiency. Previously, as Chief Information Officer at Deluxe Payroll US, Vain developed a technology strategy that significantly enhanced operational efficiency and customer service. Earlier roles include Director of Technology at Payce, Inc., where Vain led the development of Payroll and HR SaaS applications, and various positions at FYI - For Your Information, Inc. and SAIC, contributing to significant projects for government entities. Vain holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Towson University.
