Chris Murray

Chris Murray has extensive work experience in the field of industrial design. Chris is currently working as the Senior Director of Industrial Design at Delve, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Part-time Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania starting in September 2019.

Before their current role, Chris spent a significant portion of their career at Bresslergroup, where they held multiple positions. From March 2013 to June 2022, they served as the Director of Industrial Design. Chris also held the role of Design Manager from July 2011 to June 2022.

Earlier in their career, Chris worked at Black & Decker as the Front End Insights Manager from February 2009 to July 2011. Chris also served as the Industrial Design Manager from May 2005 to February 2009 and as the Lead Project Industrial Designer from September 2000 to May 2005.

Chris has international experience as well, having worked at Philips Electronics in the Netherlands as a Senior Industrial Designer from January 1999 to September 2000. Prior to that, they were with Black & Decker in the UK, where they held the position of Senior Industrial Designer from September 1993 to December 1998.

Before joining major corporations, Chris began their career at several design consulting firms. Chris worked at Queensberry Hunt Design Consultants in London as an Industrial Designer from September 1989 to August 1993. Prior to that, they worked at PA Design Consultants as an Industrial Designer from December 1987 to August 1989. Chris also gained experience at Michael Peters Design Consultants as an Industrial Designer from August 1985 to November 1987.

Chris Murray attended the Central School of Design in London from 1982 to 1985. Chris earned a BA Honours degree in Industrial Design (Engineering) during this time.
