Greg Newton

Greg Newton is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software research and development. Currently serving as Vice President of Software R&D at Dematic since May 2022, Newton previously held the position of Vice President of Product Engineering at Asurion from July 2013 to May 2022, where leadership encompassed customer-facing web claims experiences and fraud prevention technology. Earlier roles include Senior Director of Product Engineering at Cbeyond and Principal Architect at BellSouth/AT&T. Newton co-founded Sipstorm and was instrumental at Z-Tel, contributing to its successful IPO and subsequent acquisition. Academic credentials include a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
