Pete Smith

Pete Smith serves as a Systems Manager at Dematic since August 2011, leading a team of senior engineers in the design, implementation, and maintenance of managed infrastructure for software supporting Blue Chip customers. Prior to this role, Pete held positions at GlassHouse Technologies as a Senior Consultant, where significant contributions were made towards storage optimization projects, and at Fujitsu Services as a Unix Team Lead Architect, successfully architecting solutions for the UK financial services regulator. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Screwfix Direct in server and storage infrastructure, and technical positions supporting Sun Microsystems hardware and software at Phoenix IT Services and Solid Systems Computer Services. Pete holds a Bachelor's degree in Computing and Electronics for Information Technology from the University of Staffordshire, complemented by earlier studies at Stafford College.
