Brecht Devolder is an expert engineer with experience in offshore structures. Brecht has worked as a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven Faculty of Engineering Technology & Faculty of Movement and Rehabilitation Sciences and has received a Ph.D. fellowship from the Research Foundation - Flanders. Their research focuses on the development and optimization of flow simulation packages for innovative and sustainable solutions in coastal & offshore applications. Additionally, Brecht has conducted research on hydrodynamic modelling of wave energy converter arrays during their time at Ghent University.
