Jake G.

R&d Methods Engineer

Jake G. is currently serving as an R&D Methods Engineer at DEME Group since October 2023. Previously, Jake undertook a Master Thesis at Vestas focusing on a method for detecting oil leakages in pitch systems from January to August 2023. Jake has gained diverse engineering experience through internships, including a Field Solar Engineering Intern position at LightManufacturing LLC, where Jake developed a plastic shredder for recycling, and an Engineering Intern role at Nutrien Ag Solutions involving support calculations and AutoCAD drafting for anhydrous ammonia skid projects. Additionally, an internship with Crop Production Services allowed Jake to work on fertilizer spill procedures and P&ID analysis. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Energy Innovation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Energy Resources from California Polytechnic State University. Jake also holds multiple master's degrees in Energy, Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico and Renewable Energy from InnoEnergy, along with business education from Esade.
