Koen Aerts

Koen Aerts is an experienced engineering professional with a significant background in maritime and offshore project preparation. Currently serving as an Expert Engineer at DEME Group since January 2018, Koen has also held the position of 3D Designer at GeoSea since August 2011, where responsibilities include developing work methods and addressing project challenges through 3D simulation, concept design, and detailed engineering. Prior experience includes roles as Project Leader, 3D Designer, and CAD-CAM specialist at G&G Int from July 1999 to August 2011, as well as a position as a Draftsman and Quality Control employee at De Jond Wilrijk from January 1996 to July 1999. Koen Aerts is well-versed in various software and tools, including Pro Engineer and Windchill. Education was completed at PTS Boom.
