Sofie Verlinden

Sofie Verlinden has extensive experience in legal affairs, currently serving as a Bestuurder at the International Chamber of Commerce in Belgium since May 2021. Prior to this role, Sofie has been with the DEME Group since September 2013, holding positions as Chief Legal Officer, Senior Legal Counsel, and Legal Counsel. Career beginnings included an Associate role at Lydian Lawyers from October 2009 to September 2013 and a Lawyer position at Laga from March 2007 to September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master in International Trade Law from Stellenbosch University (2006-2007), a Master in Law from KU Leuven (2002-2005), and a Bachelor in Law from the University of Antwerp (2000-2002).
