Steven Pollet

Steven Pollet is an experienced Environmental Project Engineer currently with DEME Group since April 2024. Prior to this role, Steven spent eight years as a Laboratory and Quality Engineer at ARLANXEO Belgium NV, where responsibilities included supervising QC laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with control plans, and managing customer specifications in SAP S/4 HANA. Earlier, at LANXESS Rubber NV, Steven held the same title for over 15 years, contributing to quality control, project management, and staff training. Steven's expertise extends back to early roles as a Leak Detection Engineer at Bayer Rubber NV and a Junior Process Support Engineer at Genencor. Academically, Steven holds degrees in Environmental Studies and Marine and Lacustrine Sciences from Ghent University, as well as a degree in Environmental Management from Tampere University of Applied Sciences and a degree in Chemical Engineering from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende.
