Stijn Coppens

Stijn Coppens is an experienced professional in employee and industrial relations with a strong background in legal consulting. Since December 2021, Stijn has served as the Manager of Employee & Industrial Relations at DEME Group. Prior to this role, Stijn worked at Agoria from February 2011 to December 2021 as an Expert in Industrial Relations, contributing to technology-driven companies in Belgium. Stijn's earlier experience includes positions as a Legal Advisor at UZ Leuven from April 2007 to January 2011, where responsibilities encompassed social negotiations and employee relations, and as a Personnel Administration Manager at Philips Lighting from March 2006 to March 2007, overseeing payroll for over 2000 employees. Stijn began the career at Acerta as a Legal Consultant from September 1999 to February 2006, providing social and tax law consulting to businesses.
