Sunu Chandy

Sunu Chandy currently serves as a Senior Advisor at Democracy Forward since September 2023 and has a long-standing career in civil rights and poetry. Since May 1998, Sunu has held various positions related to civil rights, detailed on a personal website. As a self-employed poet since January 1990, Sunu published a collection titled "My Dear Comrades" in 2023 and contributed to numerous literary publications and anthologies. Prior to the current role, Sunu was the Legal Director at the National Women's Law Center from August 2017 to August 2023.
