John Hamilton

John Hamilton has a long and varied work experience in media production. John began in 2004 as a Television News Producer, Field Producer, and Correspondent at Democracy Now! Productions, where they helped produce a daily one-hour nationally syndicated television and radio broadcast. John's duties included story generation, news writing, television and radio editing, camera operation, field production, and the management of interns and editors. In 2007, they began working at KPFA Radio as an Anchor for The Pacifica Evening News, a one-hour newscast. John's duties included story assignments, news writing, news editing, live news anchoring, live interviews, and occasional field reporting. John also oversaw the expansion of the KPFA Evening News into a nightly broadcast. Additionally, they worked part-time as a producer and on-air talent at Link TV, a national non-profit satellite TV channel. John's duties included television field production, post-production, on-air fundraising, voiceover work, and the occasional production of special programming.

John Hamilton obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Wake Forest University.
