Alex Popp

Alex Popp is the Co-Founder and CTO of Demodesk, a company that provides a virtual desktop for sales teams. Prior to Demodesk, Alex was a software engineer at StartX from September 2014 to October 2015. Alex was also a teaching assistant at the Technical University of Munich from January 2014 to December 2014. From January 2012 to December 2014, Alex was a participant of REXUS launch campaign, where they were responsible for laser-accelerometer validation on a sounding rocket. Alex also specified and implemented the data visualization system and the data transmission protocol. Lastly, Alex was a software developer at Taxi.de from January 2012 to December 2013.

Alex Popp's educational career includes being a visiting researcher in the Computer Science Department at Stanford University, holding a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Munich, and having an Honors Degree in Technology Management from Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM).

Alex Popp reports to Veronika Riederle, Co-Founder & CEO. Some direct reports include Marcel Seibold - Head of Product, Kadri Pirn - Head of Engineering. They are on a team with David Dawoud - Head of People, Lauren Wright - VP, Revenue.
