Hugo Slabbert

Hugo Slabbert is a Principal Platform Engineer at Demonware, specializing in network design, architecture, and administration. With a strong foundation in systems administration, Hugo has held various roles, including Senior Analyst and Operations Manager, where they oversaw network infrastructure and architecture teams. In addition to technical expertise, Hugo co-founded the non-profit organization People Ensuring Animal Care Exists (P.E.A.C.E.) to support farm animal sanctuaries. Their focus is now on managing networks at scale and improving user experiences through a blend of technical solutions and best practices from application development and CI/CD.
